Application
These automotive cables, automotive battery cables, battery cables are used as original equipment for wiring in automobiles and in the auto harnesses by harness manufacturers. Miracle cables also manufactures the Battery cable harnesses with lugs soldered / crimped for ready use by automobile manufacturers. These battery cables also find their application in telecommunications, power, computer back up, wind energy farms etc.

Features
Manufactured from bright annealed 99.97% pure bare copper conductors, which offer low conductor resistance. These automotive cables, automotive battery cables, battery cables are insulated with a special grade PVC compound formulated and manufactured in-house which is impervious to water, oil, grease, acids etc.

Application
These automotive cables, automotive battery cables, battery cables are used as original equipment for wiring in new generation automobiles. In modern automobiles the focus is on miniaturization and optimization of available space which results in increase in temperature in the engine compartment and other locations. These cables are therefore manufactured with thin wall insulation with higher temperature withstanding capacity.

Features
Manufactured from bright-annealed 99.97% pure bare copper conductors, they offer low conductor resistance. These automotive cables, automotive battery cables, battery cables are insulated with a special grade high temperature PVC compound formulated and manufactured in-house which is impervious to water, oil, grease, acids etc. These automotive cables, automotive battery cables, battery cables conform to German standards viz. DIN 72551 Part 6 and have lower overall diameter as compared to normal auto cables. These cables can operate under extreme climatic conditions, which make them popular worldwide.

Typical Tests
Tests Conducted Expected results
1. Voltage test (1 KV AC for 30 minutes followed by gradual increase upto 5 KV) Withstands
2. Volume Resistivity at 700C 1x1010 ohm-cm minimum
3. Thermal overload (Heat shock test) (1200C for 48 hours, followed by Voltage Test at 1 KV AC) No breakdown of insulation
4. Shrinkage (1500C for 15 minutes) Depth of indentation 50% max.
5. Resistance to Heat pressure / Hot Deformation Test (800C for 4 hours)  
6. Accelerated Service Life Test - Voltage Test at 1 KV AC, followed by different types of conditioning (In oil at 1000C, In air oven at 1100C for 48 hours, etc.), followed by Cold Impact Test (-200C for 2 hours); followed by Voltage Test at 1 KV AC No cracks, no breakdown of insulation
7. Resistance to Cold / Cold Bend Test (1050C for 48 hours, followed by cold bending under load at -400C for 4 hours, followed by Voltage Test at 1 KV AC) No cracks, no breakdown of insulation
8. Flame Resistance / Flammability Test Self extinguishing within 30 seconds
9. Effect of lubricating oil, brake fluid, diesel and petrol Variation in diameter 4% max.
